The Funding Research Center

The Funding Research Center was established in Spring 2000 with a $15,000 grant to assist area non-profit organizations in their search for funding opportunities as well as to provide "how to" information about developing and administering a fund raising program. Through a partnership between the Williamsburg Regional Library and the Health Foundation, the Funding Research Center acquired print resources now available in the reference section at the Williamsburg Library, as well as developed online resources at both the Library and over the Internet. Through a joint funding arrangement the on-line databases GrantSelect by the Oryx Press and the Foundation Center's Foundation Directory on-line are now available to community members.

2012 Calendar of Nonprofit Events

A calendar of events for local non-profit activities and classes in the Greater Williamsburg area for 2010 as submitted by subscribers to the Williamsburg Nonprofit Organizations Listserv. This email discussion list was created as a result of a series of Williamsburg Regional Library-WCHF sponsored seminars that discussed real life non-profit operation and organization issues. This list helps local non-profit organization subscribers to share event dates, exchange news, ask advice, and stay informed.
