 The Funding Research Center

The Funding Research Center

The Funding Research Center was established in Spring 2000 with a $15,000 grant to assist area non-profit organizations in their search for funding opportunities as well as to provide "how to" information about developing and administering a fund raising program. Through a partnership between the Williamsburg Regional Library and the Health Foundation, the Funding Research Center acquired print resources now available in the reference section at the Williamsburg Library, as well as developed online resources at both the Library and over the Internet. Through a joint funding arrangement the on-line databases GrantSelect by the Oryx Press and the Foundation Center’s Foundation Directory on-line are now available to community members.

Historic Triangle

Historic Triangle Community Needs Assessment

The Historic Triangle of Virginia--Williamsburg, James City County, and 3 census tracts of York County--constitutes a single economic and cultural community with three separate governments. This report is a first step in a community conversation to determine how we are doing as a community, where we want to set our priorities, and whether we are improving over time. It sets forth 13 vision statements and examines how our community is doing against those goals.
