Resources
WCHF and the Williamsburg Regional Library make it possible for citizens have some of the most comprehensive grant research tools at their fingertips.
The library offers access to professional-quality research tools available from the Foundation Directory Online. The service gives users access to more than 100,000 detailed profiles of grant making organizations, provides them with the ability to search more than 2.4 million grant opportunities, and offers interactive mapping tools.
The database is accessible from within library buildings by logging onto the library's web site, following the What We Have drop down menu, and clicking on Research & Databases.
The service is made possible by a two-year, $5,738 grant from WCHF to further strengthen the array of print and web-based resources available through the library's Funding Research Center (FRC).
The FRC, a community resource designed to help nonprofits and citizens efficiently find and secure funding, was created through a partnership between WCHF and WRL. All FRC print materials are available in the reference and circulating collections at the Williamsburg Library (515 Scotland St, Williamsburg VA, 23185).
