How much do grantees usually receive?
The answer depends greatly on the size of your organization, the scope of your project and The Foundation's available resources. Please refer to our list of grants in previous cycles to get an idea of the range and types of grants we have made.
Do you give multi-year funding?
Multi-year funding will not be awarded during the 2012 Grant Cycles.
Do you fund general operating expenses?
Yes, the Foundation will provide general operating support.
What about funding of staff salaries?
Support for staff salaries will be considered, however agencies must show plans to sustain the position.
What do I need to submit with our letter of intent?
- WCHF Program Budget Form
- WCHF Program Narrative Form
- WCHF Program Income Form
- IRS Determination Letter (not required for government entities)
May I mail, fax or e-mail my letter of intent?
No. The Foundation requires that your Letter of Intent be submitted using the WCHF online application process.
How long does it take to receive grant funding?
It may take up to 6 months from the time the Letter of Intent is submitted to check disbursement.
Should I submit letters of support with my Letter of Intent?
Letters of Support are not required but may be requested with full proposal.
