Funding opportunities for health nonprofit and government entities in the Counties of Charles City, Gloucester, New Kent, and Surry will be limited to Foundation-Directed and Capacity Building programs.

Yes, the Foundation will provide general operating support.
Support for staff salaries will be considered, however agencies must show plans to sustain the position.
No. The Foundation requires that your Letter of Intent be submitted using the WCHF online application process.
It may take up to 6 months from the time the Letter of Intent is submitted to check disbursement.
Please note that Capacity Building Funding is suspended for 2010 until further notice. Organizations in the City of Williamsburg, and James City and York Counties are eligible to receive both competitive and capacity building grants within the same year. Please see capacity building guidelines for eligibility. Organizations in Charles City, Gloucester, New Kent, and Surry Counties are only eligible to receive Foundation-Directed or Capacity Building Grants.
Letters of Support are not required but may be requested with full proposal..
